Partied with Virginia Vincent, Bruce Gordon and Norman  Fell last night. Episode "A Kill and a Half". No Directv in the living room this morning. I could get used to the quiet. Shrimp salads for lunch. We watched The Numbers Station (2013) from Netflix. Burned out operative stationed at a remote messaging center fights for his life and that of the encoder while finding his humanity. Tense, taut suspense all the way through. And, rather believable, the kind of spy movie I like. John Cusack is perfect in his role. The rain that threatened all day, finally came. Grandson Johnny has left for Bogota.
